These are the movies on the top of my head I've watched more than 20 times.
- Batman: Dark knight
- Orange clockwork, Eyes wide shut, Dr. Strangelove
- Before sunrise and before sunset. Third one is kinda cringe.
- Shawshank Redemption

These are the movies on the top of my head I've watched more than 20 times.
Probably A Goofy Movie. I had it on VHS and watched it over and over, the themes in it were just exactly what I needed to hear as a tween. It probably fell behind in the count for a while, but now I have Disney plus and rewatch it pretty regularly. And yes, I've seen the Atlanta episode, I had no idea, and it's hilarious.
My family watched this so many times! We named our cat Max. My adult children got Powerline t-shirts last Christmas.
Beerfest, back to the future 1+2, the big lebowski are some of my repeat picks.
I love rewatching "monster" movies. Like The Mummy, Deep Blue Sea, and Lake Placid.
Grumpy Old Men:)
Iβm not sure why but I will find myself rewatching Catch me if you can every couple of years on a whim. Something about it compels me
Practical Magic. It might be tied with Nightmare Before Christmas.
It was comfortable for me to watch them both often when I scored a VCR in my room.
Star Trek: First Contact or Insurrection
American History X, Pulp Fiction, Heat.. I could go on and on
Maybe Thor Ragnarok
Superbad
I used to fall asleep watching Twister on VHS. Something about the substandard quality and tracking sound really sealed the deal when I needed to catch some Zzz's.
I watched it so many times that I wore out the tape.
For me it's Casino. Easily my favorite movie.
Ferris buellers day eternal sunshine for the spotless mind the green mile ice age a waking life.
Hateful Eight. The acting, pacing, dialogue all 10/10 IMO. It just feels cozy watching it.
As a kid, Tremors, Aliens, and Police Academy 4. Those were films we had on VHS (recorded from the TV). The first two were on the same 4h cassette, recorded in glorious long play mode and the write protection tab broken out for safety.
More than a dozen watches for each of those.
As an adult, there's a few had multiple watches. No idea what's the "most" but the ones that stick out are: Charlie's Angels - the mid 2000's one with Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Lu. Blade 2 The fast and the Furious The terminator Kill Bill
As a kid I spent probably a week sitting under a table in my room, rewatching A New Hope on a portable dvd player over and over and over. I thought that I should watch it until I had every line memorized, and then move onto ESB (which I never did for obvious reasons)
So probably ANH, followed by any other SW movie, then Mad Max Fury Road and Sicario
The Last Dragon or Ghostbusters, probably. I still watch those both at least once a year. So probably 50+ times for both of those.
Airplane!
Surely you can't be serious.
I am serious, and don't call me Shirley.
Freddy got fingered, to the point a friend and me could retell the whole movie word for word.
Lord of The Rings. and I canβt count how many times it was. as a kid I had a weekly routine to watch at least one of the movies. oh dear how I love this trilogy
Ocean's Eleven
"...the Rat Pack one with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin!"
Imagine some crazy guy saying that.
Drive Thru. It's a B rate slasher horror flick. Highly entertaining and always a recommendation.
I watch The Thing and The Mummy at least once a year.
Aliens Forrest Gump Incredibles Shrek Shawshank Redemption 5th Element Ice Age
