I've never seen the English word for "manganese" and thought it was some "manga" pun, like anime.
It's kind of silly, too. The German word is even closer ("Mangan"), but I never realized the similarity.
This looks extremely familiar... do all universities do this?
Imagine the conspiracy theories if they use the first letters of each sex "Fe" "Ma"
They wind up with a humanitarian aid camp.
