What do you think long covid is? Some people who got it in 2020 still haven't recovered. Many might never fully recover. We don't really understand why, but covid can hit people differently, at different times, and in different ways.
Covid-19 isn't gone for millions of people, even if you want to forget about it and move on with your life. Those people don't have that luxury.
