What about those people who can hold their breath for longer than two minutes?

[-] Selmafudd@lemmy.world 20 points 1 year ago

They're playing at half speed

This has to be the right answer

Except, if you refuse to breathe, you won't die, you'll just pass out and start breathing again...which kinda kills the tension implied by the meme.

It never mentions breathing voluntary/consciously, though. It is technically correct

[-] teejay@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Technically correct is the best ki... Wait where am I?

I can hold my breath for 4 minutes. Does that mean I'm technically living more life than the rest of you?

[-] nyoooom@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Might have a longer life expectancy.

But like for real, that probably means your body gets better oxygenation which would make you a bit healthier, on average.

If you only took 1 breath every 2 minutes you would be what they call in France "le dead."

It doesn’t say you only breathe once every two minutes, though.

You just reset the timer more frequently than once every two minutes. It doesn’t change the fact you only have two minutes from each breath.

With the essence of chlorine gas its again 2 minutes time without the reset part💀

[-] silverwing@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Or carbon monoxide

You can power charge the timer when you breath in pure oxygen.

About to die? Breathing is the solution.
