Conservatives are desperate to get the public's attention on something to take heat off Trump and put negative press on Biden. They will do anything, which makes them dangerous right now.

Conservatives will slaughter countless innocent people if they think it will work. They don't see immigrants (or any non-conservatives for that matter) as humans. I think Abbott's next move is to shoot families as they cross the river.

*Conservatives don’t see anyone other than themselves as humans.

Not even other Conservatives.

They do usually seem to care about their families, but that's about as far as their humanity goes.

to be fair they usually see their family as their property so it may not be entirely a humane impulse.

Nah, he already talked about how he can't just shoot them because Biden would arrest them for murder.

Why Biden don't give a call to his mexican colleague and pass by the other side ?

[-] tyler@programming.dev 18 points 5 months ago

That would actually be hilarious

They're ridiculous if they think this is going to accomplish anything useful

All they want is an escalation

Gotta take the news off daddy ornnj and his ever-increasing amount of cognitive blunders, stochastic terrorism, and failing lawsuits.

It's probably less about the former president, and more about the GOP trying to torpedo efforts to pass a bipartisan border security bill. They've been fear mongering about the border for so long and so consistently, it wouldn't actually benefit them as much if such a bill were passed during the election season.

The entire rio grande ought to be designated a national park.

USA + Mexico joint national park system.

Eminent Domain has strong legal basis, prove the point.

Let's move every military base in the states siding with abbot to a state that's not. See what happens.
