I never cared for his music and don't really think he's actively bad. Just boring mainstream pop meh.

It's another to say, "Palestine should be free!"

I've seen nothing in his 'apology' that shows he actually learned anything other than that people are mad at him. He is still doing the both sides thing. He didn't call out Israel or the ongoing genocide. He just wants people to go back to paying for his concerts and music.
He sided with people who are pro-genocide. He hasn't shown that he actually cares about that issue. It sounds like he was actively and intentionally avoiding saying the word genocide.
