When the "stopantisemitism" organisation wrote an article about macklemore pink posted it on insta and simply said "awful" or something. a week or so later she provided a more detailed stance which was kinda mixed. something like "everyone hating on me. I'm a jew. Violence is bad. hamas is bad."
I hope people start demanding refunds. Teach the daywalker that actions (or lack thereof) have consequences.

The Metallica show I saw they were touring with Five Loser Death Punch. FFDP made plenty of right wing dog whistle comments through their set, and there’s no secret about how they want to be percieved.
I have never been to a tour where the main band doesn’t choose supporting bands that generally align with their views. Sometimes the less-popular band gets to say what the main one doesn’t want to themselves.
The atendees flew trump flags, thin blue line flags, amd Gadsden flags in the parking lot. They wore militia-style shirts and hats (crossed rifles, “freedom” slogans, raggedy flag shirts, etc). They were everywhere.
Metallica’s public image is highly curated, but everything I found about them points toward “highly conservative rich white dudes with few consequences” beliefs. The attendee’s display of thier politics just seals it.
I was a very long time Metallica fan, from the RtL, MoP, and AJfA days. I thought they were way out of line when it came to threatening fans over the whole Napster thing, but the right wing BS I saw at the concert ensures I’ll never listen to them again.
The promoter really said, “we support genocide in this house,”
and all the supporting acts responded, “we don’t take blood money! Bye Ed.”
I feel like their names should be said.
They are not large bands who make millions and deserve your support!

Ed Sheeran just plays the standard pop chord lineup when he plays guitar. E, G, C, A, D. The rest of the guitar is wasted space in his hands. It’s definitely a joke about a musician specifically for musicians to laugh at.
His music is childishly simple and uses pretty much a singular method of music theory and the circle of fifths and caters wholly to the major scale. He writes baby music to be played on a baby guitar.
All of this could have been avoided if Ed Sheeran had the balls to quit Ed Sheeran's tour.
Dude he's so fucking dumb. He should have just said the tour was no longer being planned. Now the assholes who own the arenas get nothing, and have to find a new show for the dates that were being negotiated. Less money and more work for then
Keep in mind, him making a public statement wouldn't really mean anything. It's not legally binding. But it would probably get the hungry old money in line
I imagine those people got contracts, and If one side gets offended and prevented you from playing, you are not breaching the contract they are, and you get to be a Hero, and people would love you, but He made His choice and He prefers to be on the side of someone literally on the epstein files.
Oh gee, won't you think of the poor workers who wouldn't be able to do setup and tear down for his tour if he took a stand against genocide. It's awful really, just awful.
