There's a reason this image (made from real thumbnails) has become a meme, because there's an entire "China is about to collapse!!" grifting industry out there that pumps out nothing but videos like this about China's supposed imminent collapse, based on nothing but misinformation and wishful thinking. When you have an audience that desperately wants it to be true, it's easy money. They continue to move the goalposts and dates every time their absurd predictions don't happen, because it's complete nonsense.
If you fall for this, you might as well follow Gordon Chang, who is a far-right anti-China hawk who has been predicting China's collapse for over 25 years, and keeps moving the date every year.
