yeah this guy makes like 200 posts a day

[–] CmdrShepard49@sh.itjust.works 6 points 2 days ago

Still better than Patnou (?) and their 200 absurd questions each day.

[–] Sharkticon@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 days ago

What is it Pug's new account?

[–] victorz@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

How did you find this? Do you cross reference all posts on Lemmy, or [gasp] do you still visit Reddit??

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world 33 points 2 days ago (3 children)

I went to Reddit.

It's part of my daily routine to go there and click ads for an hour just to make sure Spez doesn't starve.

[–] Furbag@pawb.social 2 points 2 days ago

That noble act of service deserves to be a tax write-off of some sort.

[–] TIEPilot@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

For me its not log on, ad blocker on, and I burn up his bandwidth on dashcams and guys being dude video. Then Lemmy for the rest of the day.

[–] nil@piefed.ca 0 points 2 days ago (1 children)

He’s cute though.

You went to a famous BBQ spot, and ordered a double burger and fries? Sorry that's on you. And engaging with your dumbass post is on me.

For the readers: There's an $11.95 double cheeseburger place one block up from here. This person is an idiot

Is this 4505 on Divis?

Edit: Figured it out. OP went to NOPA and got the burger. Great restaurant with excellent service.

I’d smash that halibut crudo currently on the menu. Yes this place is high end.

[–] Westcoastdg@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

Your first guess was right, you can tell from the napkin roll and shipping crate siding. I agree that Nopa burger is better for the price!

[–] BigDiction@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Ah I looked up the current menu at both places and the 4505 burgers are $15/$20 where NOPA’s was exactly $29

But with tax and tip makes sense

[–] fyzzlefry@retrolemmy.com 2 points 2 days ago

That prime Argentinian cancer beef?

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip 25 points 3 days ago (3 children)

You're brave to order mystery ground beef right now. Highly recommend avoiding it for the foreseeable future.

Or eating anything in the US.

[–] Witchfire@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Or half the other ingredients

[–] TIEPilot@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago (2 children)

This is why living rural is the best. I get my beef from a friend that has a bunch of cows. Same /w eggs, poultry, vegetables, pork, venison.

I have literally have pulled a Ron Swanson and met my meat before slaughter.

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip 5 points 2 days ago (2 children)

I just bought a quarter cow from a local rancher. Dude is independently wealthy and does it for fun. Great beef and I know where it came from.

[–] TIEPilot@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago

Same with my buddy, farmers make mad money. He breeds them and sells the cafes once they ween. As they age out he slaughters them if he needs beef or auctions them too. I usually get a text msg a week or two prior with a list of whats available.

Best beef, grass fed w/ a daily does of potato skins.

(there is a potato chip factory near by that gives him the skins. The cows go mad for them!)

[–] FatVegan@leminal.space -1 points 2 days ago

I only eat happy animals because that's okay

[–] Today@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

I tried to buy part of a cow but i landed on a website that made you choose your cow, like a lobster. Nope! Not doing that!

[–] TIEPilot@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Its more fun in real life, I got to feed her and give her scritches behind the ears. No names though, farmer thought that was too far. She hit the slaughter house the next day.

Circle of life.

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 days ago

The guy I bought from names them and names the cow they keep for themselves every year Hamburger.

[–] fluffykittycat@slrpnk.net 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

[–] remon@ani.social 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip -1 points 2 days ago

[–] wake@quokk.au 10 points 3 days ago

Average Five Guys order

[–] Donebrach@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

You can tell it’s artisanal and local because of the butcher paper.

[–] Mongostein@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 days ago

So is San Fransisco officially a theme park now?

[–] ElcaineVolta@kbin.melroy.org 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

assuming that's as packed with animal products as it looks, it should be much more.

[–] Texas_Hangover@lemmy.radio 1 points 2 days ago

That burger is %90 lettuce ffs.

[–] victorz@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Is that cheese? Looks like a melted piece of plastic.

[–] Onomatopoeia@lemmy.cafe 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Surprisingly low for SF - that's a common price all over the place these days.

Which is why I don't go to such places anymore.

[–] CmdrShepard49@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 days ago

Only tangentially related but I bought a bottle of OceanSpray cranberry last night and it was $7.75! I dont think I've ever paid more than $3 for a bottle of this stuff before.

[–] notsosure@sh.itjust.works 2 points 3 days ago

Hot rickety, sweet Jesus!

I hope it was a damn good burger for that.

[–] Buffalox@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Well it looks cheap, so there is that. 😋

[–] CmdrShepard49@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 days ago

It looks like it's straight out of the Sysco order catalog.

[–] sfxrlz@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago

Its a free market, they paid for it. Personally I wouldn't have and that drives the market.

But lets be honest that a 8 to 10 dollar burger at best.
