Hi, a European tree hugging lefty-liberal here. I'd just like to mention how much I dislike these sort of "why are the [group] so bad they are literally the worst!"-type of low effort circlejerk posts. Makes you seem like you are 14 and just discovered politics.

Anyway, have fun.

They could also be a redditor of any age.

Because they can't read rule 6.

Because your so biased you have subconsciously dehumanized people you disagree with

Depends on the definition of Republican. Average voters? Those people just want the same things as everyone rose they just have a different perspective. They want to be happy, healthy, and secure. Your typical Republican voter agrees with progressive ideals, they just hate who they've been told to hate.

Republican politicians, on the other hand, are inhuman monsters to a surprising degree. They might be decent people away from a camera, but on camera their kayfabe for portraying cartoonish evil is unmatched.

Nah. I think you're giving them too much credit there.

A whole lot of them really do want to make their various outgroups suffer. They don't just want happiness, health, and security -- they can never be truly happy unless the people they hate are suffering.

Rule 6 bud, on top of cringe.

Weird many here took offense. I get this is also a time zone thing when this was posted.

If some upset Europeans in here knew better, they'd understand what you're asking is nearly akin to asking why nazis have no redeeming qualities.

I also noticed so far nobody here could mention a redeeming quality.

The answer is they are a party of Psychopaths at this stage. If you're still a republican after the Tea Party takeover and especially after these years of Trump, then you have major psychological or critical-thinking issues.

Nobody took offense. People just think this sort of post is stupid and pointless. Its like asking "why does dog diarrhea have no good smells?" Everyone knows it smells awful, everyone knows multiple reasons why. Its a pointless discussion to have.

Also, most importantly, read rule 6.

[–] lennybird@lemmy.world 0 points 1 week ago (1 children)

But OP doesn't know why. Nothing wrong with learning the reasons behind why diarrhea smells, or how the condition manifested in the first place.

I'm not here to enforce r6. It's here until it's not, so I'm responding. Kind of a dumb rule anyway but I digress.

[–] HuudaHarkiten@piefed.social -1 points 1 week ago

lol come on, dont be so naive. Of course OP knows, or at least have their own opinions on what and why. Its obvious this is just a circlejerking "those guys are real jerks!" post.

If they didn't know and genuinely wanted to know answers to these questions, they would have used a less inflammatory way of questioning. Otherwise this is just a way of defending being toxic on purpose with JAQing off (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Just_asking_questions)
