TO THEIR WHITE SURPRISE!

a single 1st world female being SA'd is more important than the destruction, murder and oppression of entire 3rd world countries for these Western Sucdems.

[–] sharkfucker420@lemmy.ml 21 points 4 days ago

We all know Americans have never cared about foreigners. I wish this surprised me at all

If a society thinks in individual-aligned manner, it will of course think that his SA stuff disqualify him. But if the society think in a collective-aligned manner then people would care more about the oppression of 3rd world.

So I don't think just racism explain this, but also individualism. (Which i think has a relationship with capitalism)

PS: i don't disagree with what you said, just had a tangential thought.

[–] RedWizard@hexbear.net 3 points 4 days ago

Well... That's fun.

There was no reason to suspect that a murderer doesn't respect bodily autonomy

[–] Acute_Engles@hexbear.net 11 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I read it and it was definitely a "I'm in this book and i don't like it" at parts which was good to work through

[–] sharkfucker420@lemmy.ml 9 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Unequal exchange by Torkil Lauesen was like this for me as well

[–] Acute_Engles@hexbear.net 6 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Where do people get theory audiobooks these days? I could probably figure it out sorry

[–] sharkfucker420@lemmy.ml 5 points 4 days ago (2 children)

S4A on youtube is the only one I have personally used

[–] Jabril@hexbear.net 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

hadn't seen that channel but watched their video on their thoughts on China and thought their analysis was pretty bad

the audiobooks are helpful to share though thanks

Yeah they are an ultra. I don't care for their politcal analysis. Their voice is nice though so wtv

[–] Jabril@hexbear.net 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

lol I was going call them an ultra but I only watched their "thesis" on china and held back because I hadn't seen anything else

It's bad lol, I don't recommend engaging with it at all. Not every audiobook voiceover has to be a perfect comrade. His state and rev audiobook is the only one I have listened to though

[–] Jabril@hexbear.net 1 points 4 days ago

yeah if it's just a straight audiobook without any input from the VO performer and there aren't other audiobooks its just what it is

[–] ConcreteHalloween@hexbear.net 9 points 4 days ago

Dammit Mike, I used to kinda like you

So they knew we were just repeating republican lies without even checking what we said, how does that work?

Mike is a narcissistic creep and a bully. A warning sign of him is that he was a Republican operative.
