This guy has devoted his life to representing this nation, and volunteers significant time to maintain and care for National Park Service Property. At any rate, he absolutely should demand a jury trial. They're going to have a very hard time finding 12 people willing to convict him on this bullshit.
We need to have an open, continuous, and LOUD discussion in this country about Jury Nullification. The courts HATE it when we talk about it, but they need to know that every American juror knows about it, and is willing to employ it. It is our final defense against a MAGA-weaponized justice system.

I agree the case is bullshit. I was just hoping to read something about the judge pressing them on something and them failing to have an answer or something. The headline doesn't seem to be explained in the article.
