We need the headcount...but beyond that he's as useless as it's on a boar..

I'd rather he just exit this plane of existence...

That link is sketchy as fuck...no preview means my router is filtering it has high risk... Not going near it.

Signal is a better option... Or set up a matrix server...

Seems like admitting bribery to me...

Most of it absolute bullshit designed to piss people off... Hell even a lot of the "how to" videos contain a lot of rage bait. Can't tell you how many times I've seen a mechanic doing something obviously wrong (and stupid) to generate "engagement" in the comments...

So yeah, I go look something up like how to install a car wrap (last night's video).

One guy was obviously a moron, skipped it. Next guy kind of seemed to know what he was doing. Then I was done.

Maybe if it's an exceptionally good video I'll give it a like, but I never comment and I NEVER subscribe. And when I'm done, I close the window.

Man they're gonna be pissed when she wins...

Cajun food is good as long as you don't ask too many questions about what's in the pot. ;-)

Bigger protests yes...more violent, no.

I'm pretty sure this is actually in project2025...

He's trying to spark protests...That's the whole point of ICE. To piss americans off to the point that they rise up so he can declare "an insurrection" and suspend elections or whatever other bullshit he's planning...

it's literally the game plan, and like idiots, we're going to play right into it.

Whatsapp is just more shitty Meta product... Can't be trusted.

now of course, I think this means that the lawsuit is back on, but the whole point of the settlement I think was because he knew the lawsuit would never survive a judge...

So I've been self-hosting for a few years now...got a decent setup...

But I only really got into docker-compose in the last few months... I mean, I've used it through the "Apps" in TureNAS, but never directly....

I ran a mastodon host on a VM (giant pain in the ass) and a few other things that weren't available as apps, but never mainstream...

Once I got into it, I managed to get everything moved over to truenas as docker containers..

Last week it saved my ass...the AC in the house failed..and I was able to shut down everything save the Truenas (with a fan pointed at the front of the server) and keep everything up and running throughout..

So it's been helpful to know, and an awesome learning experience. (I'm happiest when I'm learning new things)

My question is this...

How do you back them up? I mean, I have snapshot backups of my docker-volume ZFS dataset, and replicate that to a remote host...but I'm not even sure I'd know how to recover it if I had to...is it just a file copy and restart?

I think I officially have a hoarding problem...
