7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

Donald Trump's the kinda guy who considers World Hunger over because he just had a Big Mac. It's not that he's ignorant to other people's suffering, he just doesn't give a shit.
And sometimes the distress inflicted is absolutely intentional, so he does give a shit sometimes but only in the worst way.
Oh he's also very ignorant of it. But that's because he doesn't considers those people to be people. So he doesn't give it a thought

I actually met one of those "gas prices are lower now with trump than with biden, it's only $3 a gallon" maga morons. best part to show how delusional this idiot was? we were both at a gas station filling up gas that cost $5 a gallon cash ($5.13 if card).
Trump is absolutely correct as long as his bootlickers keep voting for him.
We live in a company town now. Every cent that comes in goes right back out. No savings. No retirement. Our paychecks are picked apart by fees, middlemen, subscriptions to things we used to own, corporations forcing us into choose to pay for everything or figuratively live in a cave disconnected from society. CoL and inflation increases that pay never keeps up with, working more hours, harder, with less people, for stagnant pay, and never getting a break or vacation.
Broke doesn’t mean living in a box under a bridge. You can still have the trappings of modern life, but be a complete slave to the grind with no end in sight.

Overheard an argument at a bar the other day and the Trumpie had the dumbest retorts.
"Gas prices are up" -> "But they'd be worse under Biden"
"Grocery prices aren't coming down" -> "Yes they are, they talk about it [on Fox News] all the time"
"ICE is terrorizing communities" -> "Fake news"
It just went on and on and on and I always the former person for keeping their cool but the trumpie is an absolute fucking moron.
I wished they would live in their own reality and not effect the rest of us. I would call them skitzo but that may be disrespectful to the people actually suffering that condition.

I remember reading somewhere how part of why Yugoslavia collapsed was because the high ups in the communist party knew about a whole lot of problems but they chose to do nothing to not trouble the old man Tito, so things festered.

I kind of really hope this happens. We could be a federation like Europe and probably get along much better if local regions could do what they want. Though I don't have much hope for quality of life for the southern regions.
