i always recognize the active users from the old days on .ml when it was small and didn't even have federation
i used to be aeronave@lemmy.ml
@rainpizza@lemmygrad.ml visibly has a high power level
I recognize LadyButterfly from /c/womensstuff@piefed.blahaj.zone but that's basically it
She's cool, brings great vibes to the fediverse
From ML: @Cowbee@lemmy.ml, @Dessalines@lemmy.ml, @Riverrock@lemmy.ml, @Braininabox@lemmy.ml, @Diva@lemmy.ml and you too, @sharkfucker420@lemmy.ml. From db0: @db0@lemmy.dbzer0.com, @UniversalMonk@lemmy.dbzer0.com Also: Deceptichum - @Deceptichum@quokk.au

I feel seen!
πYou know it's bad when you start getting recognized on your arguing account
That's also why having a dedicated arguing account is nice, and makes me question why I never do that.
I thought that was what the .ml account was for, lol.
It is, but having different usernames would help keep them separate, I just use the same username on different instances lol
Arguments kinda grab attention, you know?
I regularly see a surprising amount of lemmy neighbours by their names, but not by their profile pictures, as voyager does not support showing them
Waaaay too many assholes from world and other trolls π.
But then there's also awesome ones like op, cowbee and others that balance it out
Hey, weren't you also one of those who were calling out .world on their zionist apologia?
Not a lemmy user to my knowledge, but for a while I kept finding various social media accounts for a specific user.
They were (maybe still are? No clue) a very active and knowledged user of cplusplus.com, and we had some mild interactions over time.
Eventually, for some unknown reasons I got suggested its YouTube channel with some Minecraft videos, its GitHub account, and I found some comments of theirs on some Reddit threads here and there.
They now work for a software development house of a relatively obscure product that I have used before.
I rarely recognize names besides a few horny people on the shit post community. I recognize a lot of profile pics tho since not many people on here have one.
I think more people should decorate their profiles, I like getting an idea of who someone is from it. The details of mine change often but the vibes are always the same
It's always pretty hard to forget "satansmaggotycumfart". I don't really remember much of what they post but the name is always a trip.
From what Iβve seen, itβs pretty much what one would expect from a user named βsatansmaggotycumfartβ; the Critique of Pure Reason as a lived experience rather than a philosophical exercise.
I recognise you.
For no particular reason.
Shhhhh, our time together was beautiful but it should stay between us β€οΈ
"Was"
*sigh* :-(
I'm just not looking for long term committments is all. I hope you understand
I was hoping for more of a FWB sort if arrangement ... I know I could never compete with your other sharks
It was one night and they were high; you called it a week. This is why they ran away.
I always come on too strong, hoping upon hope another will feel equally passionately. Le sigh.
Hey, maybe youβre just a Sharknado. Intense, a bit much sometimes, but for whatever reason people keep enjoying your presence. We love you best when you know who you are and embrace your foibles π₯°
Thank you, that's very kind of you to say so :-)
I added the tag "tired" to somebody in one of those threads where people were talking about how to add tags to people, and I've completely forgotten why.
But, I see them every once in a while and have an "oh yeah, you" moment.
I recognize you! Lots of fun memes, comrade!
Also tons of Hexbear/Grad comrades, and a few common faces on Lemmy.ml. There are too many to really list out, and I'd feel bad leaving someone out accidentally.
You were the one of the people I thought of when I read the post title.
That and @yogthos@lemmy.ml and @geneva_convenience@lemmy.ml

@Alaskaball@hexbear.net. I feel like I get rid off a lot π€£
@Dort_Owl@hexbear.net. Stinky owl.
@SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net. I just like SFS
Hexbear users are some of the most recognizable lol. I wonder why that is?
Nearly everyone on Hexbear has an icon and pronouns, which helps with recognizability!
Loud. Outspoken. Sexy.
