Is the Emoji Movie too obvious?

I guess the ones where studios have to churn out movies so they don’t lose the IP, like some of Sony’s superhero movies.

The last twilight movie.

Aristocats: "Hey, X said you turned a baby. Not cool."

MC: "Not at all. We birthed an undead child. She's grown enough to speak already, so no deadly tantrums here."

X: "My bad."

The Mario movies literally could have been new entries in the video game series that just added full voice acting and recontextualized the Mario universe, kinda like a soft reboot.

But nah, 1 Marbillion dollars plz

Troll 2

It is wholly unworthy of sequel status.

But Nilbog is goblin spelled backwards!

I did not notice that, though I did turn the movie off after the infamous ohhh myyy goddd! scene

Okay I put this movie back on and finished it.

What a weird film!

I’ve never been so aroused by corn on the corn, but why did that guy just wake up in a pile of popcorn? The moral of the story is don’t let those vegetarians stop you from eating highly processed meats?

And that ending! What the hell?

[–] tmyakal@infosec.pub 2 points 4 weeks ago

Honestly? That ending scared the hell of of me three first time I saw it. I was very young the first time I saw it, and that end stuck with me for years.

Most of them unless they bring you joy.

I subscribe to people like Ryan George (Pitch Meetings) so I can get the gist of movies I’ll never watch.

Space Ice, Bad Movie Trailers, etc.

[–] thejoker954@lemmy.world 1 points 4 weeks ago

Pitch meetings and cinemasins are great for movies I have no intention of watching.

Unbreakable has some of the best shots of any movie made since the turn of the century
