Hello everyone:)!!!, I hope you’re all doing okay. I wanted to come back with a small update from our house and also share this for anyone reading our story for the first time.

We are a group of trans and queer sisters currently living together in Juba, South Sudan after years of displacement and camp life. We spent years under UNHCR protection in Kakuma and later Gorom, surviving violence, discrimination and constant insecurity.

After 5 long years, three of my sisters Charity, Pretty and Model have finally reached the final stage of their asylum process and are now preparing for their flight to Canada on date 18th April this month.

It still feels unreal that this moment is finally here. Right now we are still working toward the remaining amount for their required medical vaccinations and travel preparation before the flight. Every share, boost or small donation truly helps move them closer to safety and a fresh start
