I just said to my wife this week how so often I'm at an appointment or at the store and the person helping me starts with the polite "any big plans for this evening / weekend" and in my head I'm thinking "leave me alone, I don't know what's going on! Why you gotta put me on the spot like that? Why am I even here?"
If this is in a work context, no problem. If it isn't, that's problematic.
Yeah for some reason talking about what I do at work isn’t an issue. Anything else, I’m faking explosive diarrhea.
This just happened at my grandmother's funeral of all places. Wtf.
Yeah, a funeral is not the appropriate time for this kind of bullshit.
If somebody expected me to participate in that, there would be another funeral.
