I could see it as being a part of the aim of division. The Andrew Tate style "having sex with your partner is gay" stuff, trying to destroy a basic drive (though of course, not an essential or mandatory drive) towards unity (hee hee) by destroying the mutual recognition that the real physical body of the other can be something attractive?

She appears to be waving over to someone else involved in the construction project she's involved with, perhaps directing a heavy machine or something (which would explain why she's looking away from her hand). I don't know shit about construction so it could be something else, too.
