It's such a cowardly, evil doctrine. It should be in the same category as concentration camps, or chemical weapons (or other wuch western classics)

The first airforce pilots decrying the cowardice and inhumanity of dropping darts and bombs onto trenches to "i killed kids because my commander told me to, time to shoot my wife" pipeline

feels like you can draw an unbroken line from like the dresden bombing to now with special mentions going to napalm and phosphorous along the way. it is truly stomach churning to contemplate.
