Dark was what Lost wanted to be. Great stuff. Since people are making suggestions, I recently watched a show called Station Eleven that isn't as much of a brain breaker, but it's quite intriguing and has some excellent storytelling.

Here's a list of tons of leftist movies.
There's also 1899 by the same showrunners. Really cool experiment with multilingual TV. Most of the characters speak different languages and have to figure out how to communicate and uncover what's going on.
Yeah, I saw 1899, wasn't really as impressed. Was it based on a book or anything? I was less confident that they could stick the landing on that based on the first season, but I probably would've watched it to completion to see if they could.
The showrunners are a couple, I think 1899 was her story?
If you liked that, the same people made 1899
yeah it was cancelled tho so why blueball myself?
It ends on one of those cliffhangers that leaves you wanting more, but also wraps it up nicely
It works as a single season
Utopia (the UK one) got cancelled as well and that's great.
Sometimes it's better if things suddenly end.
Like The Simpsons should have after S08.
If you don’t like being blue balled why are you on a leftist forum? Check mate ya lib
well exactly why would I blueball myself further? I have to find release somewhere
wish there were more slashfics tho. Only one jonas/magnus fic on ao3 and its not very good at all? Fuck me
