General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

I'm sure this has absolutely nothing to do with why the greens are winning in the poles. Absolutely none at all

Ah yes, when you start losing votes to the left what you need to do is lose so many votes you get a stack overflow

So he says he has learned lessons from Iraq? And I heard quite a lot about "legal action" on the radio this afternoon, does this mean he will be seeking to arrest Tony Blair ?

The lesson he learned was that presidents get poll bumps due to war hysteria.

I don't think it works if you just blatantly manufacture war out of thin air and then get defeated because you pulled a Putin.

the Epstein wars have begun.

please, if we can it like that online, it'll be the actual name in Wikipedia

Of course he did... this war is entirely a distraction from Trump-Epstein files and Bibi's corruption trials...

Starmer is holding on to power by the hair of a bald frog, he too wants a distraction from his abysmal record

IE; He could not say no. Without biting a mushroom off.

I think he’s supposed to suck it actually.

One hope. The mushroom texture. Along with being asked to sacrifice lives, to prevent people noticing his hiding child rape and muder evidence.

Forces Starmer to forget if not fried mushrooms down his throat.
