Exactly! This is essentially a continuation of the Eptstien files. Problem is libs don't want to take down the ruling class any more than the fascists do, and they believe the exact same propaganda on foreign policy so they don't actually oppose this

this is something that really bothers me, I pretty much immediately write off anyone that responds to the atrocity of the day with some variant of "nice distraction from the Epstein files"

It's tactical: they don't care about imperialism, so they position it as a distraction, therefore caring about it is undignified and ignoring it is actually fighting trump. Why I don't like people here plausibly cosigning it with "Epstein coalition" or stuff.

As for the Epstein thing, I'm going insane, because it's as you put it, those who argue it's a distraction do it in a manner that tries to immediately devalue any support to Iran, even if they're also not picking America in the fight, except they only trust western sources so they're basically pro-west with even more cognitive dissonance in the baggage
