Parenti explained this. When we imagine a collective such as a teachers union discussing their future prospects, the actions to take and how to take them, it's obvious that they're in contact through different channels and having regular meetings to discuss action. Farmers do this too, and so do tenants, so it's obvious that the working class does this. But when we say that the owning class meet in a room to discuss how to exert their class power, we are accused of being conspiracists. Of course they meet in rooms!

Marx did point out that each Capitalist is nominally free, but is functionally coerced by Capital Accumulation to continuously act in a certain way.

Marxists don't even say that there is an upper class conspiracy or unity of interests. We talk about factions within the ruling class all the time and the differing interests of various types. This person fundamentally doesn't understand marxism, someone please help educate them
