If I cared how chocolate tasted i wouldn't add a whole bunch of other stuff, and then cover it with a six micron thick layer of chocolate.

If you really cared about chocolate tasting wouldn't chocolate milk be one of the worst ways to taste it????

So, strawberry Dubai-style chocolate

I'm so fucking sick of pistachios

[–] microfiche@hexbear.net 8 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Pistachios by themselves are lovely but I draw a line at anything other than the pistachio by itself.

No ice cream, no pudding, not in confections. I will not eat it in a box, or with a fox, or on a train or in the rain.

I see you haven't had pista halva.

chocolate is supposed to taste like chocolate, how am i supposed to tell if this succeeds at that when i can only taste all the other shit in there?

I wanted to use the word "suppurating" but google reminded me that's yellow. And yellowish? So it was poetic license a bridge too far.

If it weren't for the bougie presentation I'd be interested to try a chocolate strawberry pistachio candybar but this would just make me feel like an asshole eating it even if it was good.

The pistachio bit would probably be decent, but strawberry syrups always clash with chocolate in a way that diminishes it imo. Fruit syrups in general, really. Actually, fruit and chocolate just clash in general. Chocolate should lean towards bitter and savory, and mixing in something that's tangy and cloyingly sweet just doesn't work.

It's like adding cinnamon or similar spices to coffee, it just doesn't work and makes something foul.

I love a chocolate covered strawberry though. Chocolate and fruit can work sometimes.

Looks fire to me. I smack on the orange / raspberry filling chocolates and chocolate covered cherries

is it chocolate or is it a consumable in elden ring that alleviates scarlet rot buildup

[–] 9to5@hexbear.net 4 points 1 day ago

I would eat it

[–] Biddles@hexbear.net 3 points 1 day ago

[–] DasRav@hexbear.net 2 points 1 day ago

Looks weird, but I am sure it would taste good.
