splurging on rotisserie chickens...

How to tell us you've never set foot in a grocery store without telling us you've never set foot in a grocery store.

Costco rotisserie chicken is an insane bargain if you're into that sort of thing.

That's what i had for dinner last night and tonight and i will probably make soup or enchiladas from the rest Saturday. It was $5.49.

In college I lived off rotisserie chickens. They are pretty versatile. Id usually get 2-3 days worth of meals out of 1 making sandwiches, stir-fry, and other meals out of it. End of the week I'd boil the remaining beans and make soup with the broth for my room mates. I did it bc it was cheap and not a splurge. It was difficult to buy a whole raw chicken for $5 let alone one that was already cooked

WSJ article about [current generation] eating [food] in 2040: "Gen Alpha can't afford studio apartments with less than 2 roommates, splurging on canned beans." In my day we bought dried beans and boiled them with the scrap potato skins we saved, but this generation...

That's pretty Buck wild given that it's one of the most economical things you can possibly eat that isn't complete garbage.

What kind of deranged shit is that dude spewing in the video? That website is cancer. You would have done better to just post the photo without the link.

Edit: After posting this, I finished the article and that, too, is fucking terrible and reads like it was written by someone who still shotguns beers with his highschool friends well past their twenty year reunion.

Please tell me you didn't even read the article/vet the website. That is a better mistake than actively promoting this swill.
