I also piss in the shower.

[–] mrnobody@reddthat.com 16 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

Ever heard: there are 2 kinds of people in this world. People who pee in the shower and dirty fucking liars!

[–] ptu@sopuli.xyz 5 points 11 hours ago (2 children)

Honest question: don’t you mind the smell? No matter how much I rinse the drain it keeps smelling all day long.

[–] MeThisGuy@feddit.nl 1 points 1 hour ago

drink more water, or check your blood sugar

[–] mrnobody@reddthat.com 2 points 7 hours ago

No, but I keep the drain clear of hair and debris, you night have some soap scum and hair stuck, causing the smell

[–] ByteJunk@lemmy.world 3 points 16 hours ago (2 children)

What about swimming pools?

[–] Badabinski@kbin.earth 3 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

pissing in the pool produces awful nitrogen trichloride pls don't

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 2 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

that's why i wait until i'm done swimming

[–] MeThisGuy@feddit.nl 1 points 1 hour ago

but still in the pool, from the side

[–] Speiser0@feddit.org 4 points 14 hours ago

Please don't. Is it that hard to leave the pool first and go to the showers to pee there? The showering people there need the warm yellow.

[–] stoy@lemmy.zip 11 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Same here, doesn't really matter as it is immediately washed away.

[–] hOrni@lemmy.world 2 points 16 hours ago

Yeah. But I've heard, some people take offence to that.

[–] SchadeMarmelade@feddit.org 6 points 21 hours ago

I also like to spend time in lengthy debates with the shampoo and conditioner.

[–] MeThisGuy@feddit.nl 1 points 1 hour ago

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 1 points 11 hours ago

Those debates can really drag on.

And for a few weeks during summer, it is super nice and cool so you can cool off and sleep.

For years I have thought about getting a small portable AC unit for the summer so that I can pre chill my bedroom before going to bed, but every year I feel it is too expensive, and keep using the shower and a sheet to cool down

...yes!

[–] davidgro@lemmy.world 2 points 23 hours ago

I've actually been seeing dual-hose units in stores now!

I like to imagine someone in a position of power watches that channel and actually did something about it.

[–] Damarus@feddit.org 1 points 22 hours ago

Mono block units are, yeah. However some split units have appeared on the market in recent years and they are great for people who rent an apartment without any AC. I bought a Midea PortaSplit last year and it's amazing.

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 2 points 21 hours ago (2 children)

there are units that blow under your blankets now.

huh.... extra deep sheets with one of those hooked up under the fitted... that is not a terrible idea and it speeds up the heat death of the universe

[–] peteypete420@sh.itjust.works 12 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

Why you would call your mom a unit is beyond me.

[–] MeThisGuy@feddit.nl 1 points 1 hour ago

I personally know why

[–] rants_unnecessarily@piefed.social 2 points 19 hours ago* (last edited 19 hours ago) (1 children)

This is why we have saunas in Finland

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 1 points 11 hours ago

Nordic saunas are the best.
