I also piss in the shower.

[–] mrnobody@reddthat.com 19 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Ever heard: there are 2 kinds of people in this world. People who pee in the shower and dirty fucking liars!

[–] ptu@sopuli.xyz 5 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Honest question: don’t you mind the smell? No matter how much I rinse the drain it keeps smelling all day long.

[–] mrnobody@reddthat.com 4 points 2 months ago

No, but I keep the drain clear of hair and debris, you night have some soap scum and hair stuck, causing the smell

[–] MeThisGuy@feddit.nl 2 points 2 months ago

drink more water, or check your blood sugar

[–] ByteJunk@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago (2 children)

What about swimming pools?

[–] Speiser0@feddit.org 5 points 2 months ago

Please don't. Is it that hard to leave the pool first and go to the showers to pee there? The showering people there need the warm yellow.

[–] Badabinski@kbin.earth 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

pissing in the pool produces awful nitrogen trichloride pls don't

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

that's why i wait until i'm done swimming

[–] MeThisGuy@feddit.nl 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

but still in the pool, from the side

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

as is tradition

[–] stoy@lemmy.zip 11 points 2 months ago (3 children)

Same here, doesn't really matter as it is immediately washed away.

[–] SchadeMarmelade@feddit.org 6 points 2 months ago

Its all pipes anyway.

[–] PunnyName@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

And I have soap!

[–] hOrni@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Yeah. But I've heard, some people take offence to that.

[–] Malfeasant@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

My (now ex-) wife hates it... But our kids do it all the time, so what's the difference if I do too?

[–] rogsson@piefed.social 4 points 2 months ago

This is the way

[–] stoy@lemmy.zip 14 points 2 months ago (2 children)

And for a few weeks during summer, it is super nice and cool so you can cool off and sleep.

For years I have thought about getting a small portable AC unit for the summer so that I can pre chill my bedroom before going to bed, but every year I feel it is too expensive, and keep using the shower and a sheet to cool down

pleasebetechnologyconnections...
...yes!

[–] davidgro@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

I've actually been seeing dual-hose units in stores now!

I like to imagine someone in a position of power watches that channel and actually did something about it.

[–] Damarus@feddit.org 1 points 2 months ago

Mono block units are, yeah. However some split units have appeared on the market in recent years and they are great for people who rent an apartment without any AC. I bought a Midea PortaSplit last year and it's amazing.

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago (2 children)

there are units that blow under your blankets now.

[–] peteypete420@sh.itjust.works 14 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Why you would call your mom a unit is beyond me.

[–] ILikeBoobies@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 months ago

Yo mama so fat when she went to the beach, they tried to push her back in the water.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

huh.... extra deep sheets with one of those hooked up under the fitted... that is not a terrible idea and it speeds up the heat death of the universe

[–] AiricaFyresong@lemmy.blahaj.zone 12 points 2 months ago (2 children)

I also like to spend time in lengthy debates with the shampoo and conditioner.

[–] MeThisGuy@feddit.nl 1 points 2 months ago

yeh but I have the heads up leg up on that one because I read all their ingredients on the shitter

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 months ago

Those debates can really drag on.

[–] BanMe@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago

They've done studies showing people who don't get physical touch often (or ever) spend more time in the shower, and like it hotter.

I think about that a lot. Been over a year since I had sex, and almost a year since I had full body contact with someone. I think I'm not alone in that these days.

[–] pewgar_seemsimandroid@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

bit annoying that this is true

[–] DeathByBigSad@sh.itjust.works 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)
[–] DarkSideOfTheMoon@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

What about overthinking about everything

[–] OpenStars@piefed.social 2 points 2 months ago

No way!

Unless... no, never mind.

But then again... no, forget it.

Although... please ignore me.

Except, it's just that...

[–] rants_unnecessarily@piefed.social 4 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

This is why we have saunas in Finland

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 months ago

Nordic saunas are the best.

Mana-manah.
