Ukraine was an absolutely massive source of CSAM from 1995-ish to 2005-ish. Post-USSR poverty plus the new effectively-unmonitored open internet meant rampant abuse of kids that bypassed the typical customs controls on physical media. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Epstein&co. were neck-deep in all that.
