People generally have trouble conceptualising large numbers. Like for example, you can picture the difference between 90 and 100, but 30 000? Most people will just go "yep, that's a lot." The consent manufacturing machine knows this.

Previous generations couldnt watch it in real time. There was no instant global communication. From what I've observed they pretty much just had the news and the papers.

I witnessed clown to clown communication tonight as a Iranian guy and a Asian guy (didn’t find out where from but also an immigrant), were excitedly talking to each other about the most clowned up lib shit. The Iranian guy was quick to explain that 50,000 had died in Iran, and claimed that all the world’s current ills were from china and Russia. The Asian guy was super stoked to talk about xi killing a general who was “his old best pal!”
The 50k number really had me bent over though, I had a hard time not laughing in this guys face lol
Reminds me of the claims that China killed 10000 or more people in a single afternoon in Tienanmen Square
