Of course googles ai will prefer googles products for answers

Of course Microsoft’s ai will tell you ms has the best products

Of course groks gonna act like someone on Twitter

This is one of the biggest issue with ai. It’s a tool for marketing. It’s a tool for manipulation. If you don’t have the code or the training data, you do not know why it’s telling you what it is telling you.

Even the “FOSS” ones seem suspect to me

Who the fuck is still using google? (Except my wife, who is tech illiterate)

Unfortunately the majority of the society, who are tech illiterate just like your wife.

A lot of people are forced to use it. e.g. Android users.

Google Play Services would like a word.

Even going full Graphene, Lineage, or w.e, you can still be forced to use Google services for thinks like mobile banking

@Thedogdrinkscoffee @Zoot depends on the banking app and your specific needs. MicroG is working fine for me with several different banking apps.

When healthcare can ruin you financially for even small issues, of course you're going to look for help from any free source you can.
