Who the fuck is still using google? (Except my wife, who is tech illiterate)
Unfortunately the majority of the society, who are tech illiterate just like your wife.
A lot of people are forced to use it. e.g. Android users.
Android users can use firefox with ecosia or something similarly suitable do they not?
Google Play Services would like a word.
Even going full Graphene, Lineage, or w.e, you can still be forced to use Google services for thinks like mobile banking

@Thedogdrinkscoffee @Zoot depends on the banking app and your specific needs. MicroG is working fine for me with several different banking apps.
