Video from the lady in the pink, since I'm sure many will want another angle: https://files.catbox.moe/sp296e.mp4

From the video that was straight up an execution. Get him on the ground, beat and kick the shit out of him, and then shoot him.

There is nothing else to it. ICE didn't like him for whatever reason, so they murdered him in the streets. This will keep happening, wether or not people fight back. The best you can do is defend yourself by shooting first.

You forgot to include they held him down and shot him in the back

I get the feeling he was killed because he said something that one of those emotionally weak proud boi's couldn't handle.

[–] givesomefucks@lemmy.world 23 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I mean, yeah...

The brown beanie that goes up to him is the same one that pistol whipped him in the head and fired the first shot.

This guy said something to hurt Ice's feelings, so he had his buddies hold him down so he could beat and murder him.

These are death squads. We'll be lucky if a single one is held accountable but for any other group of people every one of them would already be in jail on murder charges

My bet is there will be an official statement tomorrow claiming they shot in self defense, and the victim was charging at them with a weapon.

[–] GuyFawkesV@lemmy.world 6 points 4 days ago

Why bullshit tomorrow what they can bullshit today?

[–] PrettyFlyForAFatGuy@feddit.uk 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

They're already saying he had a gun

[–] Cethin@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

It does seem, from what I've heard, that he did have a gun. However, this is supposed to be legal. If the state can murder you just for possessing a firearm, you don't have a right to a firearm. Best case for them, this is still a violation of their second amendment rights. You don't get to just claim you're scared because they own a gun and kill them. That doesn't negate their right to possess it.

[–] PrettyFlyForAFatGuy@feddit.uk 2 points 3 days ago

Yep, and i've now seen the videos of the brownshirts removing his firearm before executing him

Looks like there’s emergency protests cropping up. Here’s one for Chicago but I’m sure there are others. Now’s the time to go.

From the Wikipedia page about elections in 1933 Germany:

The resources of big business and the state were thrown behind the Nazis' campaign to achieve saturation coverage all over Germany. Brownshirts and SS patrolled and marched menacingly through the streets of cities and towns. A "combination of terror, repression and propaganda was mobilized in every... community, large and small, across the land".[1]: 339  Irene von Goetz wrote, "In a decree issued on 17 February 1933, Göring ordered the Prussian police force to make unrestrained use of firearms in operations against political opponents (the so-called Schießerlass, or shooting decree)".[4]

To ensure a Nazi majority in the vote, Nazi organisations also "monitored" the vote process. In Prussia, 50,000 members of the SSSA and Der Stahlhelm were ordered to monitor the votes as so-called deputy sheriffs or auxiliary police (Hilfspolizei) in another decree by acting Interior Minister Hermann Göring.[4]

Are the sanctimonious fucks who refused to vote because of Israel happy now?

[–] Strawberry@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 3 days ago

we gotta start banning these shit-stirring bots

[–] LaunchesKayaks@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

ICE sure is great at making martyrs of good people. I hope that the senseless death and violence and cruelty can at least bring about some kind of change for the better. I hope the populace can finally say enough is enough and influence the powers that be in some way. Rest in power all victims of ICE. Rest in piss every ICE 'officer' and every person who supports ICE.

It enrages me hearing and watching the people that passed.

This is getting more people active though working together in and out of state. We need big group buddy systems in place put too with everyone having firearms to deter threats.

By the end of all this we all will be working together way more than before being isolated from each other. So lot of good things will come from that

I'm working with like-minded family and friends to get them armed and trained on how to use their firearms. I'm thankful that I was taught all this years ago and can provide assistance to people I care about who want to be able to defend themselves.

We are all also being very loud about the atrocities being committed and are doing what we can to support and help one another, whether that be financially, by sharing different resources such as medical and mental health stuff, helping with groceries, or just lending and ear and shoulder to cry on. All we have is each other. Our leaders have abandoned the people and actively try to tear down any resistance.

I'm disabled and unable to go protest, so I do what I can to make a difference and fight the good fight. It isn't much, but I'm doing my best. If it comes down to it, if I need to hide people in my home because they're being hunted by the government, I'll be more than happy to provide refuge.

I love where I live, despite its flaws. It's a beautiful place and is my home. I don't want to leave it. I want to fight for it to become better.
