It’s difficult, because when you go to shop retail in person, they don’t have what you need. And Amazon has put all of their online competitors out of business. I was ordering things from Target until they went off the deep end. I wouldn’t touch Walmart with a 10 foot pole.
I mean, it's not like some other random retailer is exempt from tariffs.
They're not talking to Amazon about it because Amazon is some special place where tariffs uniquely show up. They're talking to Amazon because they're a major retailer, can talk about a wide range of products.
Are we winning yet?
Not clear .... Let's introduce 10% and 200% tariffs
The Amazon CEO is terrified of angering the Toddler-in-Chief. Tariffs have already drastically raised prices for Americans. Here's an Amazon example - this tool is 55% more expensive in the US than in Canada. Tariffs are 47.5% so apparently there's an an additional fee tacked on, perhaps a tariff handling fee?
Surprise! Trump's tariffs and more are being paid only by Americans. And we have to pay sales taxes on the Trump ~~tariffs~~ taxes.

Good job Jeff! Maybe you need to kiss ass a little harder.

Zuc and Elon can't even manage to look like normal humans.
”Yeah, hun, just give me a few more minutes to get out of this creep show. Is red wine alright with you?”

He's afraid he'd get deported if his nose gets too brown.
Pretty sure that's a statue of Grant behind them, pretty sure that at minimum he'd probably regret sparring Lee if exposed to these pissants.
Also Zuck looks really really lizard like in this photo.
Bezos hasn't been CEO for years.
No, but he's still involved with the company as Executive Chairman and chief kisser of the ring.
The price bumps started about six months ago. But keep slow walking it media — You wouldn’t want to make the Trump administration look bad.
Translation: We'd be performing price inceases because we've determined the makret would bear it. This would be under the guise of [insert reason here].
Remember kids, profit maximizing firms don't set prices according to their costs plus some profit margin. Prices are set to whatever the market would bear where the price * volume yields the highest revenue. When the market can bear very low profit margin, there is a correlation between costs and prices. Amazon isn't a low margin operation.
