The Argentina thing is way funnier actually. This was back during all the trade war bullshit with China. Argentina needed a bailout. The right wing hogs in our government love Milei so they sent him 20 billion while the soybean farmers were begging for a bailout bc China wasn't buying our soybeans. Then immediately after the bailout Argentina declares a tax holiday on all exports to bring in more FX. China proceeded to buy every soybean in Argentina, all but guaranteeing the US farmers would get squeezed out. It was an absolute own of the highest order by China and Argentina. Just a master class in bad trade policy.
