95% chance this was made to convince a DM that a very specific scenario is feasible in a TTRPG.
Good thing it wasn't an AR platform, I don't think a wolf could operate the mag release button and pull at the same time.

Yeah I was thinking they might not have quite the strength or range to actually force the bolt back, it can be pretty hard to do that with hands.
I'm not a wolfologist but both the type of fine motor skills to reinsert the magazine and the ear-scratch backwards rack bolt does not seem to be within the capability of the average or even a trained wolf
The main thing I'm thinking about is the fuckin grease and carbon and whatever the hell else the poor thing is getting in its mouth. Hands win again

I've read all 4 armies' unit descriptions 2 or 3 times now, the 3D printed elves in Land Warrior-era gear of the New Rygolic Host seem the coolest! Alas, I've never played a ttrpg besides some D&D campaigns abandoned a few hours in & everything in the text says how NRH is the hardest faction to play.
I'm in basically the same boat as you. One of these days I'll try it on tabletop sim instead of just reading the lore.
My guess would be that NRH wouldn't be too much harder than the others. Like yeah your units do a lot, but since you don't have as many to micromanage, you can think more about each individual one.
Good point about manageability, the Rygonet feature is an interesting wrinkle & a microcosm of the larger TACOM mechanic.
I noticed the game is on Tabletop Simulator which seems like a low investment way to play (maybe online so no friends needed?) with all the rules already baked in!

Hmm this technique would work for large members of the cat family too I suppose? Very similar physically, a Cheetah could do the same thing.
