Coming soon, Owen Wilson trademarks "Wow" and Arnold Schwarzenegger trademarks "I'll be back."

And that’s basically it!
"You're luggage"
The actor has instead acquired a soundmark from the U.S. Patent And Trademark Office on “a man saying ‘ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT’, wherein the first syllable of the first two words is at a lower pitch than the second syllable, and the first syllable of the last word is at a higher pitch than the second syllable.”
Only when "a man" says it? That sounds problematic and easily circumvented by AI, which is what the trademark was intended to protect against.
Ok but…he didn’t even write the movie.
Alright, alright, alright
(…come at me McConaughey…)
you'll need to record it
a man saying ‘ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT’, wherein the first syllable of the first two words is at a lower pitch than the second syllable, and the first syllable of the last word is at a higher pitch than the second syllable.
If you say it in front of the mirror at exactly 3am, a court official will spawn at your location to serve you the papers.
I hate celebrities.
He might have to fight Outkast for it.
That's alright alright alright alright though - totally different... 🙄
This seems like a battle he cant win.
None of us can win it. I already see tons of Ai channels on YouTube where machines are taking on the voices of celebrities and saying things from a script... And those channels actually get followers and make money.
So my conclusion is, these services will become more and more filled with ai bullshit and most users wont even care.
I predict, due to market forces, more than half of YouTube videos will be Ai generated in 2030.
If the machines cared about IP protections, they wouldn't be so much of an issue now.
What a fucking tool
I would have thought he'd trademark "That's what I love about these high school girls, man....."
If it means no one else can say it then I’m all for it.
Alright, alright, okay.
Alright okay?
To Infinity and Wherever!
So he doesn't really love those redheads?
That's okay... I understand. We are unloveable after all.
sniff
Are you alright alright alright?
Did you vote McConaughey for El Presidente? Be a lot cooler of you did, alright alright alright.
hes gonna lose it fast
Dr Zoidberg?
I watched a blurb on this today and thought it was pretty interesting. AI (mostly) sucks so bad, but I did think that using it to translate movies in the actors' voice was cool.
