It looks like they swapped columns and rows for the bar/psi ratings. I would like to see tires inflated to 29 bar haha
Fuck AI
"We did it, Patrick! We made a technological breakthrough!"
A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.
AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.
420 psi. Heh
It would be like playing Russian roulette
At over 400psi I think itβd be like playing Russian roulette with a fully loaded gun.
Hmm, I guess that's entirely possible too, I dunno π€·
The site itself just struck me as largely AI generated, but I could be half mistaken myself. Either way, as far as tire pressure, I read the recommended pressure from the door pillar and also from the tire itself.
But just imagine this sort of faulty data set making it into a robotic assembly line, and it's just blindly following the numbers and kicking out flat tires...
2 bar = 29 PSI
1.8 bar = 26 PSI
Seems pretty clearly a data entry issue.
Mom's car calls for 35psi on the door pillar, and her tires call for a max of 44psi. There is no 1, 2, 6, 8, or 9 involved in that at all, it's not a simple typo.
Unless their cat entered the data while they were out for a piss break..
. .. this looks like a simple mistype on some random website?
A simple mistype? I'm not so sure, her tires are rated for 44psi. How in the hell did 1.8 come up in any way, shape or form on this page as a typo?
Unless the data entry editor went to take a piss and their cat took over the keyboard...
