I don’t think this is real, mostly because I don’t think PETA has a sense of humor. I don’t think they’re capable of funny.

"Name one cow you're friends with" is such as asshole response to an industry that sometimes treats animals worse than Nazi concentration camps.

Seems to be a false dilemma. They ignore the idea that you can eat your friends.

TBF most animals are much nicer than humans.

Gentle reminder that the intellectual distance between an average human and a cow is smaller than it is between the average human and anyone who isn’t a total fucking idiot.

I stopped eating almost any beef after discovering the cute cow gifs subreddit. They can be so puppy like! They're also huge methane machines and having fewer cows would be good for the environment.

On the other hand, I crave a good pot roast maybe once a year.

Edit: and I can name my mother's favorite childhood cow and the cow my grandpa let me name because we shared a birthday.

I, for one, think it's great that PETA is branching out and disappointing somebody else's parents for a change.

I actually have reduced my beef consumption quite a bit. More for my personal health reasons than any other reason though.
