List of Best Rated TV Series as voted by the Fediverse
Pluribus is good
I'm watching that currently, too. It provokes endless questions, rattling around in my brain.
Pee Wee's Playhouse Christmas Special on Tubi. Gets you ready for santa
Down Cemetery Road. Same writer as Slow Horses. A bit more unhinged but still a fun watch.
I just finished the newest season of Only Murders in the Building. I liked it better than the last two seasons.
About to jump into the new season of Stranger Things.
Oh, and football. Chiefs might miss the playoffs. There's really no front runners in the NFL.
In college, Miami jumped Notre Dame when neither played, dropping ND out of the playoffs, and now they're declining ANY bowl. Also, literally everything about Michigan's head coach over the last 24 hours. And with JMU and Tulane both getting autobids, I'm curious if the playoffs will get more revisions next year. College ball is like a soapy reality show for men.
I revisited an old friend off mine. Man I was so lucky to be in Undergrad when this show aired.

Star Trek the Next Generation: Yesterday’s Enterprise. Man this was such a great episode and I wore out my VHS tape rewatching it.

STNG: I, Borg. Hugh was great and man I always wanted him to be a permanent member of the show.

STNG: The Best of Both Worlds Pt 1 and P2. Until this cliff hanger I was really oblivious to how many people watched STNG. This was the first time the show did a cliff hanger season finale and the week after everyone I ran into was talking about how they were pissed they did not get the second half. Myself and many more had no idea it was the season finale.

STNG: Reunion. I loved all the STNG Klingon episodes and this is my favorite.
Pluribus: so good.
Harry's Law: working on season 2 now - I much prefer season 1 despite it's "roughness". 2 isn't bad - it just doesn't quite have the charm of season 1.
Started re-watching Castle because I wanted some Nathan Fillion and I dropped The Rookie seasons ago because I hated what it was turning into.
I'm watching Monk but I don't recommend it. It's very formulaic but great for getting to sleep.
It's one of those shows (to me) that is good\fun to watch once in a while.
Maybe via a best of list ala the different Star Trek series.
I used to kinda like Monk. But Psych does it so much better
My only problem with Psych is when binging you realize what an absolute asshole Shawn is to Gus.
In small doses the relationship is funny in larger doses it's absolutely toxic.
Mrs Brown's Boys - I was just scrolling through Brit Box and came across it. I had never even heard of it, and just picked it on a whim. I've only seen the first episode, but it had me and my wife rolling with laughter. I hadn't laughed that hard at a show since the first time I watched IT Crowd.
Been watching the bates motel. I think I am pretty far along in season 2 although maybe its season 3. I went in with limited expectations. Felt like something with limited potential. However I have been really impressed. One thing that sorta dawned on my recently is I feel the character choices are understandable. Like not always smart but they give you enough back story about their experiences and I can see it. I feel like in many series at some point the characters could like extricate themselves or prevent things by just letting go or not doubling down. So it was surprising that characters in the show will do just that. Do some double down at times. Yeah. But not so consistently when it obviously is a bad idea. Im thinking series like the shield here. Don't get me wrong an effing good series but sometimes your like. Just stop. stop. common on. Its hard to relate but assuming the show does not get screwed up as it moves forward (like so many do) then this is a great series.
I just found out that Sonic: Boom is a show not a game so I've been binging that. I can't believe this is supposed to be for kids. The jokes are too good and often referencing stuff only old heads like me would get lol
