Well, he got what he voted for.
That's the first time I've seen a regret statement, usually they still stand by their vote and say they'll vote that way again, and that usually speaks for the fact they are incapable of caring, in any way, even for the people closest to them.
It's ironic that he "fought for freedom" and now is refusing to "fight for freedom" again.
