They all have 4 fingers, it's a cartoon universe.
nu-uh hansome man's left hand has 5 they're just in his pocket. and you can't tell since they're clasped but handsome girl's right hand only has two.
the thing is, while this looks like a 90's cubicle farm, these people are actually workers in a victorian textile mill and have all been maimed by the great machines
