They've almost finished doing that already. As soon as Biden was inaugurated all the red states immediately passed laws to limit mail-in voting, purged voter rolls and limited polling places in purple districts.
The violent former MAGAs are getting fed up and are inclined to vote 2nd amendment style.
Don't care what they have inclined they supported this regime. They are nothing but traitors and bigots. Fuck them. I rather use my firearm on them as well.

Why not just focus on great policy and results?
Because the Republican party operates as a patronage machine run by billionaires. The policies they want are ones which transfer money from your pocket into theirs. This is needless to say, not popular, so they stir up racism to divide people and distract from what they're doing.
Good policy is way less profitable
You really have to watch this recent Steve Bannon interview to see how serious and blatant they are
but there's no long-term plan. What do you do when the majority of the people you represent hate your policy? Well there's reckonings of increasing severity.
Voting is the condom that protects the powerful from the many. If you fuck everyone and raw dog the will of the masses you're going to get a Society Transmitted Infection
