It's been too long without sov cit posts!

[–] BonesOfTheMoon@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Sorry friend. I'll post more.

[–] halcyoncmdr@lemmy.world 21 points 1 day ago (1 children)

These posts are ALWAYS on Facebook. It's fascinating what the platform has become from its original roots.

It's more 4chan than 4chan.

Except it's boomers instead of teen edgelords

In one sense, I empathize with SovCitz, they are sick of being stuck in the shitty half of our 2 tier legal system.

But, thier methods are nonsensical to the point being best described as lovecraftian ritual performance. And thier actions betray the belief that 2 tier system is fine, they're just personally in the wrong tier.

What sovcits don't understand is that even if their magical legalese made logical sense it wouldn't matter, because what determines the outcome of any legal proceeding isn't the letter of the law, but the interpretation of it by those tasked with carrying it out.

Yes, it is an odd belief system. They believe that the totalitarians have placed a trap door within their system, to allow divorced dads not to fall under the jurisdiction of totalitarianism.

[–] LaserTurboShark69@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Oh yeah well what if they interpret even HARDER

[–] meco03211@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

If your interpretation lasts longer than 4 hours, consult a physician.

My thinking has reached CRITICAL level!

But I still refuse to do any critical thinking....

Bones is always here. Just been out of my groove.

I did find a sovcit doctor though. Like an actual MD. It's wild.

So, does this actually work for anyone? Like, how’re they getting it in their heads that this is a functional lifestyle? Is someone selling them this information? Is this information warfare conducted by [insert entity]? I can’t understand the origin of sovcits

Here's what they see IRL in court, on YouTube, read about:

A case is before the court. The lawyer speaks in terms that seem complex, often in Latin. Magically, the case is dismissed or found in favor of the defendant. Sovcits believe these judgements contain cues as to how they can shortcut the justice system. After all, they just saw other people do it!

Also, sometimes their idiot demands are met, or they think they are. Say you're buying a car and tell the dealer you're a "natural person", or whatever the fuck, and you refuse to pay taxes. The salesman comes back and says, "You're right! Taxes waived!" LOL no, they found a way to tack that money on and you're too dumb to figure it out. SOURCE: Sold cars for a few months in the day.

Maybe a credit card has sold your debt at a discount. The company that bought your debt just needs a piece of it to make a profit, not the whole thing. Demand they get that money from your "whatever the fuck account they think the government holds for them". "OK, looks like we can pull $750 of your $1,000 debt from that fund. Pay the rest and we're square." Numbnuts just negotiated a debt and thinks they won because they're smart, repeats to FaceBook.

Now take these observations and find groups of people who have experienced the same sorts of things, now you're in a cult! Also, there are people whose entire livelihood is making websites to sell you shit like fake license plates and identification.

[–] ch00f@lemmy.world 15 points 1 day ago

My uncle has a friend who cracked the code and discovered you can get free shit by buying it on a credit card and then disputing the charge.

So it works about as well as that.

[–] tazeycrazy@feddit.uk 11 points 1 day ago

There is a range of course. Some free but with leaflets that contain the spells that get you out of debt/parking fine/ taxes. They will work and if they don't then you said them wrong. Sign up for my next course for a better spell book that will definitely 100% work*

*no refunds

It works until someone doesn’t take your bullshit and it all catches up with you and then completely unravels.

I work with some idiots who spout so much bullshit that people just nod and don't engage

This makes them think that they're right, because nobody is disagreeing with them

The more ridiculous their idea, the less likely people are to bother arguing with them, so their idiocy grows

There's a way that these people write that suggests they share a similar mental illness.

[–] IronBird@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

is stupidity a mental illness?

[–] nemith@programming.dev 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Technically yes. Very much so.

[–] IronBird@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

knowledge don't seem much better, at a certain point
