For a second I thought it was Trump who called that resolution "very, very stupid". 
With how often Trump just seems to enjoy being contrarian out of spite, what're the odds of him turning left? What if he just believes socialism means 'kill all the billionaires', but he thinks that if he does it he'll be made king or something.
Zero. Trump has no ideology, he's in it purely for himself.
