I will eventually get another cat, I hope at least.
trust in the cat distribution system
Don't hold yourself back on some sort of idea that there needs to be a set amount of time that passes first!
You're right, I also read a book on pet loss that mentioned the same thing. Right now though I simply don't have the money to pay for an adoption with the fees of fixing them and shots.
he always had a cute little dog face
Yeah whomever named him "Wolfie" had the right idea, but I had a ton of pet names for him, Mr. Peanut, Peanut Head, and ofc Mr. Softie.
i can't believe it's been a year.
Yeah I know it feels like it was yesterday still.

Mr. Softie was a real one
Best cat ever

R.I.P. Mr. Softie, I remember your posts about him. He was very lucky to have you.
My girlfriend lost her dog a few months back and it has left a hole in our hearts. We used to use different goofy pics of her dog as emojis and haven't done so since the dog's death. It's a weird sort of pain. Sometimes it's hard to recognize the depth of the joy that someone brings until you find yourself without it.
Take solace in the fact that the pain slowly fades, but the love is forever.
That's a good kitty right there. Glad you two found each other.
Rest in peace Mr. Softie
rip to a real cool guy

beautiful kitty im so sorry
Mr. Softie looks like a proper gentleman who lived his best life. We spoil them because they deserve it. And it sounds like that's exactly what you did for him, no one could ask for more.
He was the nicest cat you'd ever meet, not a mean bone in his body and thanks.
RIP o7 he do be looking soft
RIP, thst kitty rocked hard! Get some kitties so, life is an endless cycle of cats. I've had quite a few come and go but theres an endless supply of lil guys that need a good life.
Beautiful cat. It's so hard losing pets that you hold this dear but it sounds like he was loved and cared for which is more than so many other cats can say and I'm sure he felt lucky to have you

RIP :( . It's not fair our animal friends don't get to live as long as we do.
Oh no! I never knew, I'm so sorry for your loss. I used to love your posts and had wondered recently why I hadn't seen any for a while, I didn't realise this was why!
pour one out for Mr Softie
This is one of the sweetest cat posts I've ever read. I'm so sorry you lost your friend. Are you in a position to take in another?
Are you in a position to take in another?
Not right now but maybe down the line
He looks like quite the gentlemen. It sounds like he had a great life and loved you equally. I have lost a few animals in my life and even though I'm an agnostic atheist I still hang onto the thought of the rainbow bridge and that they're all healthy, running, and playing in a beautiful place waiting for me on the other side. I'm sorry for your loss.
