Underlying all the lies and historical falsifications in Trump's declaration are the fears of a ruling class that is terrified by the growing opposition to capitalism.

Given America's track record with "War on _", we're about to see a socialist victory the likes of which has never been witnessed before

My dad had a rare W a few weeks back when he told me "I wish the USA would wage a war on me since I'd win".

Trots be trotting

[–] procapra@lemmy.ml 8 points 4 months ago

Why's it always trots? Why is it never leftcoms?

For once I want them to be talking from like a bordigist perspective. Just so I can feel.

It rules that this dying sex criminal piece of shit is the one signing it into law. I consider it an unforced error when our enemies tie anti-communism to some useful idiot who can later die and tarnish the movement.

Wars on abstract concepts sure are great for the US military industrial complex

Also distracting from the Epstein pedo removed is probably priority no 1 for that pedo, fucker in chief.

Not a huge fan of WSWS. They're Trotskyist and have being against labor unions written into their founding documents.

Trump made similar declarations on November 7 in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020. On November 7 this year, proclaimed that anti-Communism week had started on November 2. Either Trump forgot to declare it at the start of the week or he decided to upgrade the proclamation from a day to a week on the spot.

I couldn't find that Biden, Obama, or Bush made November 7 declarations. Ron DeSantis made November 7 into Anti-communism day in Florida starting in 2022.

I hate trots as much as the next person, but WSWS and other trot groups write good articles sometimes and I don't think it's deeper than that in this case.

[–] dead@hexbear.net 10 points 4 months ago (1 children)

If it was a good article, then why did it not mention that Trump previously made similar proclamations? The majority of the article is just promoting Trotskyism. The article is not even related to the headline. The closing paragraph of the article tells people to become Trotskyists.

[–] blunder@hexbear.net 19 points 4 months ago

The article only exists to support Trotskyism, Trotskyism only exists to support articles... ouroboros
