It just depresses me that people's brains are so completely fucked at this point

Yeah it's objectively good gamers can't actually make anything.
Not surprised tbh. Most corporate office jobs are soul destroying but with game development you have the additional joy of dealing with gamers.
I wonder if most game developers hate making the slop the average braindead gamer likes (which they probably have to due to pressure from the corporation they work at). Or how developers feel about catering to such a repulsive audience.
At the same time it's so weird how triggered gamers get when developers make a game that is influenced by their tastes or world views. Like it's their fucking game. Try make an alpha game or whatever the fuck the average braindead gamer wants if you feel so strongly about it. Oh wait they can't.
In small towns yeah you'll never get a second hand market. But everywhere else you can. I mean even now there is a big market for second hand switch games. You can basically play any game for like $20 if you buy used (or even new) and sell when you're done.
I mean it's definitely the best of worst but people make it sound like it's actually good. It's extremely bad for developers. Basically digital rent seeking, their favored nation clauses, more or less erasing physical media and the second hand market. This is just off the top of my head. But steam is awful
Yeah. This is basically my view as well
I just realized why the first joke even works. It's directed at Christians or ex Christians. Doesn't do anything for me though lol
Grim didn't get played by anyone. He supported Warren over Bernie (not that Bernie is goated but it shows his politics) and ran cover on Chapo for aoc when she was getting blasted for being a capitulator, by saying her politics were never as left as people thought (as if the excuses her).
Yup steam is a fucking awful monopoly. I don't know why people think Newell is anything but standard subhuman billionaire trash.
Expedition 33 clears. Hades 2 was great but as a sequel it wasn't as novel as expedition 33. Didn't play the others but they're all sequels so I think that also applies to the rest of them.
