The damage control has started. The bad thing is I can see some people being ok with her statements.

The republican party has been leveraging people's misunderstanding of how the world works for decades.
An 8-year-old child can experience early-onset puberty, but that doesn't make them capable of making adult choices, much less make it remotely okay for someone to use them as cattle for old men to rape.
All any of this is, is more of the "well define the line" bullshit and distraction that they use to fight abortion rights and nearly every other social issue that allows women in particular to not be treated like cattle. They hate you, they hate your kids, they hate you existing and want only the worst outcomes for each of us.
It should be also pointed out that he's totally innocent of elder abuse, due to the age of the victims. Why are people refusing to see the bright side of this? There are scores of crimes he's innocent of!

Weeeeelllllll technically, that would make them ephebophiles. (Kelly is grabbing on to what ever she can to deflect). Medically, people sexually attracted to early to later teens. As far as what we know right now, there are no pedophiles, (pre-pubescent attraction) on the list. Though there might be a possibility. We just don't know yet.
In any case, rape most foul it most certainly was. And all of them need to be prosecuted and jailed for it. While being sued for every penny they have in civil court.
