Megan Kelly follows the "if you're old enough to bleed, you're old enough to breed" playbook.

[–] Voroxpete@sh.itjust.works 13 points 1 day ago

It's only paedophilia if it comes from the pedophile region of Alabama. Otherwise it's just sparkling ephebophilia.

[–] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 24 points 1 day ago

Her child should be removed from her custody.

[–] orioler25@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

Lookit that, ephebophile strat went mainstream.

[–] zigglesbarlow@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

I got banned from reddit for commenting "woodchipper" on this article next to posts openly supporting violence against young girls. Pretty cool platform to be thrown out of.

He's not a Pedophile unless he comes from the Pedo region of Epstein Island, otherwise he's just sparkling child molester.

[–] subgenius@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 day ago

He's quite the vintage. I hear 79 cock is magical. It dissapears!

[–] _stranger_@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

I'm pretty sure they named the pedo region of Epstein island after him

Thank God the Right is out here protecting our kids from transpeople. /sarcasm

[–] NewSocialWhoDis@lemmy.zip 8 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (3 children)

Let's be real. The right is "protecting kids from trans people" because they think transexuality is socially contagious and they don't want to fuck trans kids.

[–] QueenHawlSera@sh.itjust.works 1 points 14 hours ago

Ah yes, the "social contagion" theory, out here acting like Dawkins wasn't full of shit when he came up with memetics

[–] Voroxpete@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The rates of rape experienced by trans people suggest you're entirely wrong about that last part.

[–] NewSocialWhoDis@lemmy.zip 1 points 12 hours ago

Sigh. Fair.

[–] SabinStargem@lemmy.today 4 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Or worse, the trans kids refusing to fuck conservatives. Far as a turdpublican goes, other people exist to be exploited, and a willfully chosen sexual identity can be a roadblock. People developing a personality inherently means having the willpower to say "NO!".

[–] ikidd@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Ah, Megyn, glad it's not some guy spouting "old enough to bleed, old enough to breed" like my drunk uncle at Thanksgiving...

"If there's grass on the field, play ball!" -Megyn Kelly

[–] PeacefulForest@lemmy.world 19 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Ohh okay so now we’re going with the “they’re mature to marry once they hit puberty” thing Somalia does. I feel real bad for Megyn Kelly’s 14 year old daughter.

What a POS

[–] MangioneDontMiss@feddit.nl 33 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (4 children)

goddamn this fucking talking point is spreading. Just yesterday I was watching a video where some maga piece of shit was questioning a streamer about why he thinks its wrong that adults rape 13 year olds. Pretty soon we're going to have absolutely no choice except physical violence.

for ref: https://www.reddit.com/r/CringeTikToks/comments/1ovted6/we_breathe_the_same_air_as_these_people/

[–] QuoVadisHomines@sh.itjust.works 14 points 2 days ago

This talking point is very popular among the right wing libertarian guys who are so offputting they cannot date their peers.

It’s also popular among Christian fascist theocrats who want to be able to date and marry children.

so… if they releases the files and we know who will be there… you know what will be the excuse…

[–] SoftestSapphic@lemmy.world 32 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

She has a 14 year old daughter

If you tell someone not to fuck kids and their response is "actually 15 year olds aren't kids" then that person is a pedo.

[–] varjen@lemmy.world 31 points 2 days ago (7 children)

If you use the definition of hebephilia or ephebophilia as an argument about anything I'm going to think of you as a pedophile.

Regardless of whether or not he was a pedophile, we should not be using that medical term the way we do. Most pedophiles don't molest children. Most child molesters aren't pedophiles. Sexual assault isn't about sexual attraction and being sexually attracted to someone doesn't make you a predator.

[–] Zink@programming.dev 18 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It's already been pointed out how wrong and gross this is.

But for the sake of discussion let's give her the biggest possible benefit of the doubt.

So then the president of the united states was ONLY a human sex slave trafficker. Super.

unfortunately I think her handlers know that simply planting a seed of doubt will work on many in their audience.

[–] AA5B@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

And child rapist. Even if you want to be pedantic about what qualifies as pedophilia, statutory rape is still rape and some who’s not an adult is still a child.

And if you want to be extra pedantic, it’s worse. Following a response above, one is a mental disorder that can be lived with, whereas the other is taking action, actually sexually assaulting children

[–] Randelung@lemmy.world 24 points 2 days ago (4 children)

Oh, they're going the "explaining the difference between a pedophile, a hebephile, and a ephebophile" route. Let's see if it works out for them.

It's like what critters are or aren't "bugs"

Entomologists usually limit it to Hemiptera, or even a more specific sub-order, while colloquially it just means any terrestrial arthropod

Ants, bees, beetles, and butterflies technically aren't "Bugs", but they're still bugs.

Adults who fantasize about or engage in sex acts with minors above the age of 13 technically aren't "Pedophiles", but they're still pedophiles.

[–] fodor@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Technically dictionaries tend to include multiple definitions because language reflects usage, so technically they very much are.

There's a difference between a 15-year-old and a 5-year-old, you know?

She should not be able to walk down the street without constant reminder of making this statement about victims of sex trafficking. Absolute monster of a person.

The Narcissists Prayer

That didn't happen.
And if it did, it wasn't that bad. <----- We are here
And if it was, that's not a big deal.
And if it is, that's not my fault.
And if it was, I didn't mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it.

progress at last
