Well, the research won't research itself.

[–] vrek@programming.dev 3 points 4 months ago

I went onto the Google and searched for it...

I didn't get the answer I wanted so...

I researched it...

[–] betanumerus@lemmy.ca 10 points 4 months ago

That may be so, but do your own research.

Have begun? We've got philosophers of science going back millennia, and history of science for at least half a century.

[–] Thedogdrinkscoffee@lemmy.ca 4 points 4 months ago

Half a century ago qualifies as "has begun".

[–] janus2@lemmy.zip 3 points 4 months ago

"have" in "have begun" doing some heavy lifting

My research is focused on why research liquids are red or blue.

This is the leader of our field, >1000 publications.

This is my fierce rival, he can do two unrelated things at once.

This was my rival, he died immediately after this was taken...

This genius has yet to learn the mysteries of the graduated cylinder...

And this one has yet to figure out if you want to use a microscope, you need to look into it....

And by the stethoscope, we can tell he's headed to the cafeteria to impress people....

We might actually find the root cause of searching in our lifetimes!

[–] janus2@lemmy.zip 2 points 4 months ago

breaking: biologists find the gene responsible for making you a fucking nerd

[–] marcos@lemmy.world 4 points 4 months ago

Is further research needed?

[–] LeeeroooyJeeenkiiins@hexbear.net 3 points 4 months ago

pretty sure it's funding and that's why China gonna keep winnin' some-controversy

[–] SlartyBartFast@sh.itjust.works 2 points 4 months ago

[–] gigastasio@sh.itjust.works 1 points 4 months ago

Research frequently leads to knowledge. And some people don’t like that.

We've had research on research for decades if not centuries. I don't get the meme :|

[–] janus2@lemmy.zip 2 points 4 months ago

it was originally posted in SurrealMemes, i think just as an absurdism piece

anything meta is just kinda surreal regardless of how common or normal it is

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 1 points 4 months ago

That past research on research was retracted.
